Hello, my name is Caitlyn. When I beta read, I read the story/chapter as I normally would, seeing as that is usually the most efficient way to spot any errors. After I have finished reading the story, I read it backwards to double check each words spelling. If I believe the word is spelled wrong, I read over the sentence it is in to make sure.

I excel at spotting grammatical and spelling errors. I am a very persnickety person, so I'm good at spotting any type of errors really. I also have a vast vocabulary, and am good at replacing words for words that better fit. I am also good at proper quotation use. I am an Honors English student.

My weakness is simple. I love this magical button (~), it's so wavy! Oh, and did I mention I love using exclamation points? I guess it's the way I talk in real life, but I just can't help it!

As a fan of series such as: Vampire Academy; Twilight; House of Night; and the Immortals series, I would prefer to beta read over stories that fall into those categories. I'm also an anime/manga fan, and I'll beta read for series like: Vampire Knight; Shugo Chara!; Skip Beat!; Kamichama Karin; Ouran High School Host Club, and pretty much anything else that falls into the shoujo/romance category. I can also beta read any rating.

I would prefer not to beta stories that are Rose/Adrian (from Vampire Academy), sorry, but even though I love Adrian, I'm Team Dimitri, or Bella/Jacob (from Twilight), because I'm Team Edward. But I'm fine with pretty much anything else.
