I love writing, and I love working with other writers. I will provide honest and thorough critiques of your work, but I will not be rude or mean. I like to go through each chapter paragraph by paragraph and insert my thoughts and suggestions as I read, and then provide an overall assessment at the end. I will respond to all of your messages/emails as quickly as possible, and I will contact you promptly if real life is going to slow down my betaing.

I am willing to beta for pretty much any pairing or genre in my preferred fandoms (see below). There are some subjects I'd prefer to stay away from, but I'm a pretty open-minded beta. I'll do slash, gen, het, etc. Ask away! I love OCs, especially ones that are really well-written. I love them as main characters, I love them as side characters, I love them paired with canon characters or with other OCs. So feel free to ask me to beta stories involving them! However, I don't like Mary Sues. If you think your OC might be a Mary Sue and you want help in fixing the problem, I'd be happy to help with that. But if you are intentionally writing a Mary Sue, then I can't help you. I also can't help you if you're writing an Out-Of-Character story on purpose. But if you want help in keeping the canon characters in-character, I'll gladly assist you. As for content, I'm open to almost all genres. I love romance and action especially.

The pacing of a story is probably my greatest weakness.

Canon-wise, I'm most comfortable with Avatar: The Last Airbender, TRON and TRON: Legacy, and Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann. See my profile for lists of other books, movies, and tv shows that I'm familiar with. I'd be open to betaing for many of the fandoms in those lists. These three, however, are my strongest areas.

I'd rather not do stories with lots of sexual assault, really graphic gore/violence, or incest. Stories with rape in them are an absolute no. Tragedies are also something I'd prefer to stay away from.
