I will not flame you or say, "This sucks!", no matter how bad I find it. I will be completely honest with you, though, and I will say everything that I see wrong with your story. I like betareading first stories by new authors, cause I feel they need help. But I will help out where I can. |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
I am particularly good at spelling. I also am very good at making poor characters better. I enjoy Hurt/Comfort a lot. I have read a very great variety of books, thus I have an open mind. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
I don't do love scenes that well. Plus the fact that I will not do anything that has out of the book pairings. Like, in Harry Potter, I'll gladly betaread a Rose/Scorpius, but no Draco/Hermione. Slash fits into this category too. |
Preferred: types of stories I prefer over others
My favorite genre is Hurt/Comfort, I work with everything k-t, and I can only read English. I have a wide cultural range, so I can betaread a lot of stuff. |
Would Rather Not: I do not beta for these stories
I will NOT betaread slash or any other type of pairing not found in the books. I will attempt to be fair, but in the end I'll wind up yelling at you for it. So don't even go there. |
