I'm new to betareading. I have not used a beta reader for my own stories but would like to help others get more comfortable with posting their fan fictions. I have a fair grasp of the English language and am a bit of a perfectionist(one reason I don't use a betareader myself).

I believe I have an average to slightly above average grasp of English grammar. I handle descriptions of emotions and scenery very well. I am very through in checking historical facts, making sure items, clothing etc belong to the time period in which a story is set. I try to follow a logical plot line.

I can be wordy.

I would prefer to read stories based on novels, movies and some tv shows. I will read anything from k to m rated materials. I don't mind gore, horror or supernatural items. If I'm not familiar with the original work and feel I am unable to perform a good betaread for you, I'll tell you up front.

No animated generes please. Also, I don't want to read anything in which the original characters act uncharacteristically.
