My name is Viviene. I'm a twenty-five year old Canadian female. I have completed an undergraduate program with honours in English Literature and Classics. I am currently working towards my Masters, specializing in Renaissance and Restoration literature. I've been reading avidly since I was in kindergarten and wrote for my school newspaper in both high school and university. I was the 'head-editor' of my high school paper. I enjoy writing very much and have dabbled in everything from screenplays to professional essays. I worked as an English tutor for many years. I am fairly confident in my abilities.

- I am very fussy when it comes to characterisation, and will do everything I can to make sure everything seems believable. That goes for both canon and original characters.

- I am rather gifted with vocabularly and will do my best to make your story sound as professional and well-groomed as possible.

- I've also got a keen eye for punctuation. I love perfect puncuation.

I don't always catch all spelling mistakes, for example their versus there. However, I do promise to read over all fics more than once so that I don't miss those little fiends.

Any genre is alright with me.
I prefer stories with concrete plotlines and not 'crack-fics' as they appear to be called.
I love fics that explore characters.
Romance is fine and while I prefer heterosexual romances, I will not turn down homosexual relationship stories.
Humour is well-liked if it is smart and dark.

I don't really feel comfortable with drabbles. I also don't like silly stories. Like I said, humour is good, but sarcasm is better.
I DO NOT do poetry. Not under any circumstances.
