I love to edit. Far more than I love to write. And I really do love to write. But give me a red pen and a story with even traces of errors in it, and I'll go to town. Yes, this is my idea of a good time. So give anything to me to read and it'll be my treat!
My style... I'm scathing. I try not to be snarky, I do, but I can't count on it. I leave no stone unturned. I'm the type of person who will spend a spare weekend day red-penning a published book, so expect some serious stylistic nitpickery. If you want me to go easy on you, I suppose I can try, but don't expect me to tone it down too much.

Well, I can proofread like nobody's business, if that's your thing. But I pride myself more on an ability to catch awkward phrasings and word choices, stylistic missteps, and plot errors.

I often know what's wrong with something but not what to do about it. I'm not as good a writer as I am an editor, I'm afraid. I'm also a bit too cynical. I was born that way, it's not my fault! I can be a nice person, I swear.

As long as it's a story, I like it. But genfic, I think, is the best kind. And I much prefer fandoms I'm well-read in, of course.

There are fics I dislike - angsty fics, fics with OCs - but no fics I really wouldn't edit. Just expect me to be a little harsh if you give me those kinds, I suppose. The only thing I may outright object to is a fic for a fandom I know nothing about.
