So I love looking over stories and helping people improve! I've never beta-read a story before but have proofread many essays for my friends and love discussing writing styles and approaches with other writers. The style I take when giving my opinion is 'honest but nice'. If there is something I think you should change I'll let you know but I'll be kind about it and won't pressure you to change it if you don't want to. It's still your story after all.

Grammar, objective writing (describing objects, places, etc), and making sure sentences flow smoothly and stays on-topic (it's the perfectionist in me). Also, I am good at characterizations.

Subjective descriptions (emotions/feelings) and punctuation.

BRING ON THE ROMANCE, but please make sure there's a plot. Straight fluff is hard for me to read. Also I like stories that contain humor, drama, and hurt/comfort. If your story contains romance I'm pretty open-minded when it comes to pairings so even if it's not my favorite it won't affect my beta reading.

I can't read horror stories, so nothing of that nature! Also, I don't mind M-rated stuff but if it's too freaky I can't do that either. And though I mentioned above that I'm open-minded when it comes to pairings, I don't do slash. Sorry.
