Hi, I've been meaning to become a beta for a while. I'm more into editing than writing, but I have fun with both. I would be happy to beta, but I'll only accept plots I like. I'll beta for more than just my listed fiction, on the conditions I'm familar with the fiction and I'm okay with plot. I mostly read comedy, but I'm willing to tackle more serious work as well. I'll try not to be harsh, but I want to be honest. I will definatley be more critical as a beta than I am a reviewer. I want to say I'm picky about pairings and the like, but I'd be honored just to read your story if you want me to. So don't be afraid to ask.

I'm honest, and will give a fair review. I'm very good with grammar and can spot almost all mistakes. I know how to spell pretty well, too. I won't accept plot holes, and I will point them all out. If you can defend them to me, that's okay, but then I'll ask you to encorporate that into your story.

I can be too critical. OR I can be too soft because I try not be critical. I'm very critical of plot and will point out every single plot hole, sometimes meanly. Also, I will give up stories if I get disinterested, if it takes to long to update, or if I somehow start disliking the writer. I won't start disliking you if you don't deserve it.

I like fluff, but I'll read nonromantic plot lines. I'm mostly a fan of comedy, and I'll tolerate angst that is DONE RIGHT. I especially family and friendship fics, of all kinds. I like crack friendships more than I like actual crack pairings, but if it's funny, I'll read it. I do like slash, but only with established gay characters, or at least not officially straight. Few exceptions.

I do not like: inequal relationships, mpreg, intolerance, wangst, inappropriate descriptions of serious subjects. I dislike OCs as main characters, but will tolerate their presence. I really dislike it when somone does not treat a serious subject as serious as it is. If you are going to approach a dark topic, be serious about it yourself.
