I've had some experiance "beta'ing" if you will, my school friends stories, and likewise having them look over mine. I've loved reading and writing since I was very little, so I know my way around words and I love passing on my wisdom to others. Mostly I'll look out for grammar/spelling errors and fluency mistakes, but I'll also take a look at stories for general plot progression and artistic styling. If you would like me to take a look at your piece, I do expect you to be at least proficient in the English language. No EXCESSIVE spelling mistakes and for God's sake, no text lingo.

I seem to be pretty good at catching little errors in grammar and continuity (and I mean little miniscule details.) I can also help with fluency and have been called "The Walking Dictionary" that doubles as a theasaurus. People have also said that I'm "good at writing realisitic dialogue."

In my own work, I have trouble balancing dialogue, action and description and I often make grammar mistakes, but I seem to be pretty good at picking them out for other people

I'd prefer to beta-read for The Legend of Zelda, Tales of Symphonia, Trauma Team, Arc Rise Fantasia, or Fullmetal Alchemist but I'll read for lots of other fandoms. As for genre, I'll read any, but I'm a sucker for dark, angsty stuff. Drama is always good and I also like fluff .

I'd prefer not to read anything with excessive cursing or smut, though I am okay with Yaoi/Shonen Ai. Only things that are in good taste, please. Blood and gore is okay in my book, though.
