I am studying English Literature, History and French in University, and am committed to good grammar, spelling and punctuation. Studying Literature I think that I will continue to grow in my abilities to identify good writing, and I always find I notice such errors when I'm reading newspapers and fiction.

I will not accept work for consideration using 'txtspeak' or with work that has obvious and frankly silly mistakes. I would say I do not try to control another author's work and influence plot/character/setting - but if I feel I can make a worthwhile suggestion I will do so.

I like authors who put a little bit of thought and research into their stories, and especially those who try to keep their characters true to the original work that they are taking inspiration from. Above all if we get on, that probably means I will enjoy reading and editing and suggesting changes relating to your work. :)

I'm great at spotting grammatical and spelling mistakes, and also weak sentence structure. I can also give advice about improving narrative voice and tone.

Currently I'm trying to improve my ability to develop a character, as this is something I have been criticised for in the past.

One with strong characters and a coherant plotline is always good. If your story doesn't work I will tell you so. It's up to you how want to take that.

Generally I like stories from categories that I know something about, but if on a first reading I enjoy what I see I'll try to investigate it as much as I can.

I know nothing about Anime so I will not read anything to do with it. I'm not so keen on fanfiction related to Comics. I'm also not a big fan of cross-overs, but if you really feel that you have something special then by all means try it out.
