I'm available on a somewhat-fluctuating schedule, due to the variance of the load inflicted by my classes. I read with an eye for grammar and spelling, but I don't go over documents with a fine-toothed comb. I'll also look at the overall plot and point out any major holes I notice. If you want me to betaread for you, please understand that it may take me a while to get to your piece, as I am often busy with papers and projects, but I will get to it in a fairly reasonable amount of time.

Checking spelling and word usage. Most incorrect word usages seems to leap out at me, and beg to be corrected. The same applies for mangled grammar.

Sometimes I miss plot holes if your handwavium is of sufficient quality. I also can't promise any particular schedule for beta-reading, as mentioned in my bio. Sometimes I'm just overwhelmed with other things.

I would prefer stories that have at least undergone some modicum of checking before I receive them. I also prefer stories that involve the supernatural, or high technology, or something else that you just don't find in the current world. I'm also usually a great fan of AU stories.

Stories focusing on relationships. Sorry, I'm just not that fond of them.
"Realistic" stories set in the past or present. I prefer something that you can't find in the current world or the past.
