I'm a beta reader because I am sick and tired of flamers thinking that they know what is best for a story. I'm also sick of people putting half-assed stories on here and thinking that they are masterpieces when it takes them six tries to spell their own screen name. Also, I want to become part of the process for publishing someone's story because it gives people like me and the author a certain satisfaction that everything would be alright.

I'm good at grammar, mechanics, spelling, redundancies, awkwardness, etc. I didn't take two years of Honors English and two years of AP English for nothing, bro.

I tend to be very particular and very critical almost to the point of insanity for the person I am critiquing. Also, I have a tendency to also be a stickler and I will try to give other ideas to maybe change your story. Wait, that may actually be a good thing.

I prefer stories that belong to categories that I know. Mainly ones whose stories are featured on my favorites list. Check it to know what I mean.

Yaoi/anything gay unless it is actually a pairing or a possible pairing in a story. Even then I am going to have to decline. Really hateful stories like for example Naruto hates his parents and wants to kill everyone or a Kushina hates Naruto story and vice versa. I really hate those.
