Usually when I beta-read, I send back the version with the bits I've corrected highlighted somehow, then have notes underneath the piece of writing explaining why I've made these changes. If you don't agree with me, that's totally cool too, and I won't pressure you into going along with all my suggestions. People all write differently, after all. I don't mind at all what your level of writing is, after all, if you feel your not the writer you want to be yet, the only way you're going to get better is by practise, and sometimes that can take a little guidance, right? I had loads of help when I just started out creative writing, and I still have to get advice a lot.

Spelling is probably my strongest thing (not really helpful these days, what with spellcheckers and all) My grammar is pretty good, though, I think. Though I will fully admit, I use a despicably large amount of commas.

Honorifics. I find them really difficult, so I won't be giving advice out on them very soon. Basically any words that aren't commonly used in the English language (for example, in a lot of anime fanfics, Japanese words are thrown in) I'm not a great lover of mixing languages, and so I'm not much help on that front. (Does that make sense?) Oh, yeah, also, explaining myself. I'm pretty awful at it, as I'm sure you can see :P

I love happy, fluffy stories which make me 'squee' inside, but I'll still happily (bad word :P) do angst. So no, I don't really have any huge preferences.

Pure smut. I don't mind if there are smutty moments, but if it's just about sexual stuff, I generally tend to pass.
