For any form of literature, I try not to be an idle reader. I tend to immerse myself in the world that the author has created. I decided to offer my services because I want to help budding authors become great. I will give encouragement, advice and correction when needed but do not expect me to write the story for you. I do not tell lies. I will tell you my opinion but please remember that it is MY opinion. You may choose to get a second one. Do not let criticism stop you, not even mine. Please note that while this is my first time to offer my services to the online public, this is not my first time to correct the work of others. No expectations other than that there should be at least a few chapters completed before I start, a plot in mind and a willingness to learn. For first-time authors, while I will correct grammar please TRY to keep to the few rules of grammar that any English student should have learned in Grade 4. Thank you.

I read very fast without compromising the content of the story, meaning I still fully understand and comprehend it. I can also remember the story line after discussing or reading it once. The time it takes me to correct writings is just a tad slower than my normal reading pace. I am a stickler for correct grammar. My friends would call me 'Grammar Nazi' because even in speech I would correct them. *Laughs* I suppose it is the inner teacher in me, I just want everyone to be able to communicate exceptionally whether in speech or in writing. I have been reading a wide variety of books since I was little. This gave me a wide vocabulary that I can and will use. Also, I have a keen eye for character development. I am better at writing suspense and drama than anything else, in my opinion.

As a reader and reviewer in the fanfiction world, I had one rule: "If you have nothing nice to say...then say nothing." I don't flame. If the work presented to me is...forgive me...not as good as it can be, I will TRY to help you make it better. I have a hard time giving negative input, preferring to keep silent rather than say, or rather type it. It's embarrassing but I am not good at spelling. Thank goodness for Spell Check. Even then I check my own writings at least twice before giving it to the public. The computer is only a computer, it can miss things. I am striving to overcome this weakness. I am a perfectionist. I'm not sure if this is a weakness or a strength. Please just tell me if I get too annoying. Oh yes, I get bored easily.

Though I prefer works of fantasy, drama, action, supernatural, suspense and just a little romance, I am open to other genres. I am well read but I will not deceive myself that I have read EVERYTHING this vast world has to offer. I would prefer a regular updater but as I am not one myself, I understand if the author is unable to write. I only ask that there be two to three chapters completed before I start. I'd rather beta-read works in fandoms I am familiar with. Not only for my own convenience but also so that the author might get a well-informed critique. Lastly but perhaps most importantly, please make it interesting. Thank you.

I will not beta-read any fanfiction for canon that I am not familiar with. I am probably not the best choice if you need someone to beta explicit scenes.
