I usually check on grammer and spelling, which is my biggest quip. Style to me is the art of writing and writing is the ability to express. However, what a writer is trying to say must make sense and allow full clarity. If someone has a hard time of how to describe something or a particular action then the whole idea of what is going on could be a process of over-thinking. I like a wide range of vocabularly but just throwing down random words just to sound smart and organized is really a redundant attempt to impress. Its okay if you have to look in a dictionary to check over its meaning but don't deliberately look up some 20-odd letter word and slap into your work.
I like description. And I like to read stories that especially go into detail on what a person is thinking.

My forte would be grammer and structure and spelling/vocabulary. To me, word usage is an important detail in the way a story flows. And I can help with a writer express their clarity with words.

Style. I'm an avid reader and practically everything I read is beautiful to me. Everyone has their own style and I don't think I would be able to critique style without being biased.

I rather beta stories that fit into the genres of romance, angst, friendship, family, tragedy, and others that deal with emotional stress and/or conflict. As a human, I can relate to these type of situations naturally.

Sci-fi and supernatural are definitely not my cup of tea. Anyone can create a supernatural world and/or fictional aspects of ours but it takes someone other than me to understand the functional points of Sci-Fi.
