-I enjoy quality work, well thought out ideas, and things which leave little or no plot holes(unless of course, it's a parody, in which case, plot holes are appreciated).

-I can be harsh at times, but please be aware that I use the same harshness on myself and my ideas. It is not my intention to attack you. I am simply trying to help you improve your writing, just as I would hope that you would do the same for me.

-I will be honest with what I think about a story, though I might be gentle sometimes, I also lack tact. Just so you know.

-I expect that you will give me feedback about what I betaread and comments about my comments, so that we can come to a mutual understanding about the quality of the work.

-I will work with you if you need help, just be aware that I'm not an English major, I'm a physics major, so I'm a bit more technically minded. I try to have things make sense in the world that they are put in and if it doesn't, then I try to fix that.

-I ask 'why?' a lot. It's not meant to be patronizing or pugnacious, but to help you and me make sense of why things are happening the way they are.

-I'm also a sucker for cute couples. And kids.

-Diligent, if you give me something to work on I'll try to be quick and be done with reading.

-I'll keep in touch with you. Apparently people fall off the face of the earth when beta-reading. If I'm dead, I'll leave you some way to find out so that you can find a new reader and not keep guessing at whether I'm ignoring you or not.

-Wide base of experience(From martial arts to basic programming, to wilderness survival and formal etiquette training, car manufacturing and factory work, lifeguarding, and living in the ghettos of D.C., etc. It's been a fun life I've lived.)

-I enjoy reading no matter what quality the work is or whatever it may be(almost).

-I can take criticism. If I'm not living up to your expectations, say so. I'm always looking to improve.

-Quick reader, but occasionally I overlook grammatical errors because in my head, they sound 'right'. Sometimes, I have to read the work out loud to catch myself.

-I tend to use contractions a lot. Not proper from a grammatical standpoint unless you're using it from the characters point of view, their 'voice' if you will.

-I do tend to get bogged down with work. Beta-reading is a nice, but I'm a forgetful guy. While I do keep you informed, I do tend to slack at times. Just let me know if you think I am and I'll try to fix it.

-Tend to get annoyed if I'm not responded to in a timely manner, though I do understand that life happens, just explain what happened and take ownership of it. No sissy-footing. I'll do the same for you. If you think I'm not, just say so. I'll work with you.

-I'll add things when I think about it.
