I love to write, but I also love to criticize other people's writing. I have already written my own full length novel, but have yet to try and get it published.
I'd like anyone who wants me to beta for them upfront to know that I am a very busy girl sometime. I may not be able to get to your story the first, second, or even the third day, but I will get to it, and it will be well worth your time to wait. If this time frame is an issue with you, PLEASE don't even ask me. I am in High School Musical with my local community players which takes about three of my afternoons a week, plus I have a part-time job, school, and I have to sleep sometime! I always send it back fully corrected with some constructive criticism and some positive feedback if you'll only wait on me.
I will also just critic a story for you if that is all you want. That's a skill I've really improved on in the last year, and I'd love to help you guys with it. I can help you better your personalization of original characters and of some original characters, your over all effect and theme, and most of all, your plot.

I'm really good at catching the little mistakes the spell checkers won't catch, like if you use "their" instead of "there." I'm also pretty good with grammar and giving constructive criticism.
Also, as mention above in my main profile, I am AWESOME at criticing work. I know somebody only want someone to give them someone to help them improve by critism, and I can give that construtctive critism.

Spelling in general. I can spell normal everyday words alright, but when you start talking about something more complex sorry, forget it. I usual check to see if something is spelled right in the dictionary if I'm in doubt. I also have a tendency to type faster than my mind can think, so their may be a letter switched here, or a letter missing here, but normally I fix these things.
I also have a tenndecy to lose interests in things and get MAJOR writers block. That is why my Twilight story isn't finished yet, but I promise, I will not do that to you guys as your Beta Reader.

I prefer serious stories since I can't really criticize something that's suppose to be hilarious, but if you want me to beta something like that, I sure will try! I won’t be able to criticize it very much, but I can still correct it grammar wise!
I'd also be thrilled to do something of a suspense/horror genre since that is what I mainly write myself. Romance is cool too, though, since I'm also a sucker for a good fluffy story.
I'll also beta original character and self insert stories. I have nothing against these which you can tell if you read some of my own fanfiction.

Please, please, please, NO LEMONS! I have a twelve-year-old little brother who loves to watch what I'm doing on the computer. For my sake and his, do not do this to me. I also would prefer not to do anything concerning yaoi or yuri. I have nothing against these stories, it's just that I would prefer not to have to read them. Other than that, I'm open for anything!
