I am an English major in college with an interest in possibly becoming an editor professionally after grad school. I am very honest as a beta, and just a slight warning I will not coddle you as an author. I would be especially pleased to look at anyone's fic who takes their writing with a modicum of seriousness, but really I am open to anything thats just for fun as well.

I love first person to write, but I can edit first or third, even second if you are one of the few people who choose to employ it. I am good with mechanics and spelling, but also have a deep interest in character and plot development. I will tell you if I think something needs to be fixed and will make suggestions, but I will also point out your strengths.

As a reader I can be a little biased towards my own style of writing, but will really try to keep an open mind. As a writer I have more weaknesses than I would like to recount one by one.

I prefer character or plot driven stories as opposed to fluff, but clever fluff can be very enjoyable.

I despise slash, just leave me out of that if you please.
