I am an avid fan of almost anything, as long as it either has a good concept, or is well written. I dislike any sort of out of characterness, unless, again, it is really well written. I was raised in a very literature, music and science oriented household, so I will not go easy on grammar, things must make sense, and any songfics done to a specific tune must fit that tune. As a Beta, I know that not all stories I get to read will be like this, but this is how I will suggest corrections. Wackiness is welcomed as well. Puns, too.

I am good at correcting grammar and spelling, and filling in plotholes or rearranging narratives so they make better sense. I will listen to what the author is trying to say with the story and set my views accordingly. I am best at the Genres of Science Fiction and Fantasy, and can provide techno/thaumaturgical babble on command.

I have very strong views of what makes a good story, so I may be biased against any stories that don't conform. Though I understand historical culture, I am not so knowledgable with dates, times or specific historic events. Also, modern culture, outside of Geekdom, is pretty darn alien to me.

Preferred list is anything Sci-fi or Fantasy, superhero fics, space operas, and any crossovers that are completely out there. I'll read almost anything you put in front of me.

Long, convoluted point-of-view swapping is a no-go, as are dry historical fictions. Keep the cussing down to a minimum, as well, unless it fits the character.
