In my own stories I have a hard time keeping things going because I get frustrated... I get hung up on things.

Something silly, something original, something serious, I don't care. I can go for slash or het, romance or action. Although to be honest... I read mostly romance based stories, so it'd be helpful if there's a pairing or romantic involvement of some sort if it's not humor or angst based. All out action bores me...

Outright cruelty/rape/character-bashing fics with no emotional impact, explanation, ect., basically there for the author's enjoyment are weird to me. And, original characters annoy me. Or self-inserts.
