I've been a member of this website since 2003, over various accounts. On my first account, I had a story achieve nearly 3000 reviews. I will be attending the University of Victoria in the fall of 2009, majoring in Creative Writing. I have won over three awards for my writing at various locations, events, programs and websites.

My goal, when it comes to beta-reading, is not only to correct spelling errors, grammer errors and typos, but to also aid you when it comes to style and flow. No matter how well-written and corrected a story is, it can still be painful to read if you don't have nicely fitted paragraphs or a bunch of fragments clutter the view.

I strongly believe in "show, don't tell", and I try to help when I can in those cases. I never write short reviews, either: They're always 2 or more paragraphs in length and made to help to writer improve as well as compliment what they've done.

On a regular week, I'm online mondays to fridays from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM EST. Fridays, I am often on later, and I am on for MUCH longer during the weekend. I have MSN, AIM and Yahoo! Messenger, so I am easily able to reach, though you will find me on MSN the most.

I am good at finding typos and general spelling and grammer issues. As mentionned already, I try to help in other ways such as style and 'flow' of the story. If a story is a pain on the eyes to read, no one will read it. I will not overly modify things to the point of which it doesn't even seem like your work, but I just tweak here and there to make it even more appealing where possible.

Also, for those who write slash/yaoi: I've read hundreds upon hundreds of slash/yaoi fiction. I'm very experienced when it comes to sexual knowledge and I can make sure your slash/yaoi scenes are perfectly sensable and physically possible (because I think we've all read at least one slash story that just seemed completely impossible, physically speaking!).

I may bend your story more to my style. It is a habit I try not to do. I also tend to re-format works which I don't care for the formatting of, particularly during dialog as often times when reading fan fictions dialog is poorly formatted.

I'm a South Park and Lord of the Rings fan girl. Those two fandoms are my specialty! I can guarantee I will be able to make sure the characters are in character and the locations are fitting to their description in those two. My personal favorite stories are those that are rated M or T, I LOVE slash, but I am still willing to beta any type regardless of slash.

I am not a fan of anime. I would prefer to only beta read things in my preferred fandoms, South Park and Lord of the rings, as that way I can be a lot more accurate when dealing with characters and places. Other than that, I am open to anything. I love slash, and I have a wide knowledge of slash/yaoi writing, so I am very open to this type of story writing, don't worry!
