As a beta reader, I focus mostly on figuring out what grammatical errors and awkward wording can be fixed; I trust the writer to create stories without continuity errors or contradictions. I read to help others get their points across, and leave the actual stories to the writers. I am also very quick at reading; a several thousand word chapter will take me a few minutes to read over, and no more than an hour to return results on. However, I expect there to be absolutely no time requirements or deadlines (within reason of course; a day or two should be good enough), as some readings take longer if the writer's style is particularly convoluted. I am perfectly willing to work with anyone who has a story that even vaguely interests me, and my interests are very wide ranging.

I can help to make words perhaps flow together in a more meaningful and less convoluted way. I am also quick in my work, and even more so if I enjoy the writing. If asked to, I am completely capable of helping to note where characters are acting in an unusual way. I can do most of the work most people need, but will only do what is asked of me.

I am not particularly great at keeping track of all the little tidbits of information in a long story. Therefore, I am not great at noticing contradictions in the plot or errors of that type.

I can handle (tastefully done) romances, adventure stories, and most other genres from books or anime series. I don't watch television or movies, so I could provide little advice on those topics from a storyline standpoint. Besides that, I am willing to consider almost all types of stories (other than what is noted below).

If you put yourself in the story, I will most likely not enjoy it. The same goes for stories with an overwhelming amount of or focus on original characters, assuming I have read or watched what you have based your work on. Also, religious stories are a no.
