Heya! While I haven't published a huge amount of fanfic, I'm still a fairly experienced writer and editor. I have a read a lot of fanfic and am well versed in many 'verses. In regards to my approach to betaing, I prefer to attack it chapter-by-chapter i.e. you would send me a chapter and I would review it critically, outlining pros and cons and giving suggestions. I would not be at all offended if you didn't take me up on my suggestions, but they will hopefully give you an idea as to what other peoples reactions might be.

I will also help with coming up with story ideas/develops on request.

One of my pet-hates in fanfics are cliches and overused storylines. I'm fairly good at pointing these out and to help make stories more original. Also, I know a number of the 'verses (buffy in particular) back to front and can help in picking up plot points.

While I can pick up on most of the more obvious typos, I am by no means a spelling expert and will sometimes slip up in this department.

I am a big fan of crossovers, so generally prefer these, altho straight fics are still okay too.

I'm not a huge fan of overly angsty pieces. Also, in regards to buffy I'm not that into faith so if it's a faith-centric story I might not do it justice.
