Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
I suppose you could say I'm a bit critical considering grammar. I've done some correcting for other people and have suggested using other phrases to get their ideas presented in a more efficient manner. br /br /br /br /br / br /br / br / br /br /br / br / br /br / br / br /br /br /br / br / br /br / br / br /br /br / br / br /br / br / I don't mind being a beta for more than one person and I'm not going to judge anyone for gender pairings. br /br /br /br / br / br /br / br / br /br /br / br / br /br / br / br /br /br /br / br / br /br / br / br /br /br / br / br /br / br / I usually read fanfics regarding the following: Harry Potter, Transformers, Poke'mon, some InuYasha, some of the Riddick Chronicles, and other stories that have cross-overs with the above subjects. I am mostly a Harry Potter fan and really enjoy Harry Potter cross-overs. |

I do sometimes use cliches in my writing, but I hope that others can see what I've also added on.br /br /br /br /br / br /br / br / br /br /br / br / br /br / br / br /br /br /br / br / br /br / br / br /br /br / br / br /br / br / As a beta-reader, I can get picky, especially when considering grammar (incorrect spelling tends to repel me from some stories). I would just like to remind people that just because I recommend something, that doesn't mean they have to do it. |
Preferred: types of stories I prefer over others
Harry Potter stories and Harry Potter cross-overs are my favorite. My current attraction is Harry Potter/Transformers, but I won't refuse other cross-overs just because of it. |
Would Rather Not: I do not beta for these stories
If it comes from a series I don't know then I won't be able to offer the best advice. I tend to avoid fan-fics that come from a story that I'm not familiar with. |
