Hello! I'm Macrovac, the one and only fully automated science fiction connoisseur! I've worked with the Orion's Arm Project and am an avid science fiction reader. I'm particularly partial to hard science fiction and I've been brushing up on radical ideas for the future since reading the first of Asimov's Foundation books back in middle school. Future technology is my specialty, if you want technological advice on something you want done from a story telling perspective, including things to watch out for and other uses that aren't immediately obvious for a particular technology or plot device. I don't particularly have any expectations for authors, if you want to tell a smart and scientifically savvy story, I'd be happy to give it the good old grammar scrub-down and technological advice!

Biomedical engineering is my specialty, neural augmentation and bionics are the things I'm most familiar with. I also have a strong background in organic chemistry and physics, particularly the latter. I'm good at thinking out specifics in what is necessary for an event and the implications of those specifics, you will never hear someone exclaim "Why didn't they just do _" because I'm always asking myself the exact same questions.

I really, REALLY overuse commas in my writing. I also tend to get a bit wordy in explaining things that don't really need to be explained, but I put so much thought into something's origin and basis, it feels wrong not to include an overly verbose explanation.

Sci-Fi, though that should be pretty clear by now. I'm fine with other stories that have sci-fi elements, but aren't strictly sci-fi

I really do enjoy reading, I can't really think of anything I expressly dislike. I've read everything from Dostoevsky's Brothers Karamazov to Douglas Adam's Hitchhiker's Guide anthology.
