Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
I love reading and writing, and I actually think editing is fun. I'm very particular about grammar and tense, I usually get all readings done and corrected in a short time. |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
I point out good writing to keep, as well as things to be changed, and as I said, I'm good at catching grammar and tense mistakes. I like beta reading, and I'm used to editing as my parents are both writers, and my sisters and friends ask me to edit their work a lot. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
Occaisonally I skip over paragraphs, though I go back later, and I find stories not spread out and condensed into one paragraph very hard to read. |
Preferred: types of stories I prefer over others
I'll pretty much do any kind of story, I don't mind angsty fics or character-death fics. |
Would Rather Not: I do not beta for these stories
The only thing I don't read or write is slash or femslash rated T or higher. I have nothing against these stories or authors, I just prefer not to read things like that. |
