I've betaread a few times before, and would like to do so more often. When I betaread, I read the story or chapter twice before looking for corrections. I like to really sink my teeth into the story before I polish it. I'll develop a personal relationship with the author and understand where they are coming from with certain phrases and ideas. I'll even help with plot bunnies, if asked.

I excel at punctuation and grammar. I'm in college and tested out of all English courses. I'm also amazing at using Google if I'm unsure about something. If I beta for you, I'll really get into your story and become your fan, so I'll know if there is something confusing about the plot or behavior of a character.

If the tense changes in a story, from first person to second person to first again, or from past to future to present, I might not notice it. I read right on through and adapt to the changes. If you have issues with accidently changing tenses throughout your story, I may not be the best resource for you.

I work best with narratives.

I do not prefer betareading poem-type stories. I'm not sure if they are allowed on this site, but I just can't bring myself to check your grammar in an artistic literary form.
