I view writing as an imperfect process that can only approach perfection through the inclusion of other people, and even prefer to have my own work proof-read and critiqued by another. I am extremely honest and personable, and will often tell it how it is without being mean. If I am chosen as a beta, I am prompt and efficient, and will express those opinions which I think can improve the story. Although I do not have much posted at this time, I am no stranger to fanfiction and have been reading/writing for numerous years.

I am well-versed in English and enjoy grammar, a fact which lends itself nicely to being a beta reader. I often pick up on grammar mistakes that others do not see, and have been told that my proof-reading greatly helps both fluency and clarity. I am also honest and straightforward, and want to help fellow writers. I have been told that I am a great help in plot development as well.

I can only beta in English, and if I am not familiar with the genre, find it very difficult to beta those types of stories. However, that happens rather rarely, thankfully.

I would prefer romance, drama, suspense, or mystery stories, but essentially anything will do.

I would not beta plays, horror, or Western.
