I've been writing for over a decade now. If you send me something, It should only take me up to three days to get back to you with my thoughts and suggestions. Expect me to speak with you at major junctions in the process and to make sure what you were going for always comes out. |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
As a beta I do best with stories that are serious, or at least leaning more towards the drama scale than comedy. Asking me to beta is asking for advice on plot, characterization, grammar, stuff like that. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
I can do breather episodes. I can do lightening up the mood. But asking me about how to pull off scenes that will get the reader busting a gut is not what you want. |
Preferred: types of stories I prefer over others
Ones with overarching adventures. I'll still read your romances, but adventures are what I'm into. |
Would Rather Not: I do not beta for these stories
Comedy. If your story is 100% comedic in tone, I am the wrong person. |
