Hi! I'm CrystalQueen. I love helping people with their stories. I've honestly never betaread for anyone else before but I'm quite good at editing. Anyone who I agree to help I promise I will do my absolute best for.

I'm very good at describing characters' emotions. I can do a suspenseful buildup and generally find the right words to use. I'm good at employing dramatic irony and and trying to figure out what makes sense and what doesn't. I'm pretty good at figuring out how characters would react to things, I guess.

I have a pretty good understanding of general grammar but I'm far from perfect. I have trouble focusing sometimes but I'll try not to let that impact my speed at beta reading. Everyone says I have good pacing but occasionally I rush a little. There's often several minor typos in my chapters but I usually fix them within a day or two.

This is kind of an odd one, but I love to play around with the fourth wall. I like family stories as well as hurt/comfort. And I like most What Ifs, watching the movie fics and really anything centered around characters reactions to parts of canon they didn't know about.

High school and College AUs. Really, most AUs that have very little to do with the canon source. I'm not the best at romance but not necessarily something I wouldn't betaread. I don't like stories with so much angst or tragedy that it's depressing. I won't do anything with a rating higher than T.
