Okey-doke. I'm Kitty, and I've decided to become a beta reader. I love to check my messages and am on the computer pretty much constantly, so I can get back to people I choose to help within the day more often than not. However, if you want my help, you are going to have to send me a sample of your writing, so I can deem whether or not my editing is compatible with your writing. I can help not only with grammar, but with plot, character streamlining...all the good stuff. I expect only a proper attitude of functionality in return- i.e. I'm not an overly harsh critic, but if I give you some criticism, be mature about ignoring or accepting it and don't take it personally.

I am more than decently equipped with grammar skills, can help with rewording awkward sentences, respond quickly, and am thorough. I have absolutely no problem explaining myself and will tell you exactly what I think you need to hear to make your story the best it can be within your and my abilities. I don't nitpick, and I don't sugar coat. But I do get invested and involved.

I will not edit something that I am not interested in. I read and edit fanfiction for fun so...if it's not interesting to me it kind of defeats the purpose. Other than that...I'm not perfect. I'm human. I'll probably miss some little things, but I'll do my best.

I like relationships. If your story has interesting character relationships (of the romantic variety especially), I'm in.

I'm down for any QUALITY material.
