I worked my butt off on my language arts assignments to scrape a solid "A" -- that subject includes poetry analysis, literary analysis, essay writing, vocabulary, and grammar. I'm involved in drama and the arts, so I'll know what to do to help your story to, as a work, come to life. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
1) I tend to be obsessive. Whatever I say might make sense to me, but it might not apply. 2) I'm a nerd. I might talk about a particular topic and go on and on while you just sit there going, "Huh?!" (It's not your fault; blame my no-life-ness). |
Preferred: types of stories I prefer over others
I prefer romances, novels, and brisk comedies. Something that can get me off my chair and start prancing like a maniac (which, honestly shouldn't be hard, so I'm probably your beta reader). |
Would Rather Not: I do not beta for these stories
No full-to-the-brim emo/horror/goth stuff, please! A bit of emo/goth here and there is okay (because I have written stories like that) but not gushing slit wrists sort of a thing. |
