I'm studying to be an English Major right now, but I'm not claiming to be amazing at proofing/betaing. I do an overview first, making sure that everything flows nicely together and the story/chapter/passage makes sense in the order presented. Then I go back through and make sure there are no spelling mistakes, grammar mistakes, and awkward sentences. The only expectations I have for people who request my services are that they don't get upset when I make a change or suggest a change. That's my only requirement!

I am studying to be an English major and have always been very good at proofing papers and stories and other things like that. I'm best at checking for grammar mistakes and making sure the sentences flow and nothing sounds awkward. I also am very good at being fast and looking for things the author wants me to look at or look for.

I am not the best speller in the whole entire world and that is one of my weaknesses. However, I am getting better at it and can easily recognize when a word is spelled wrong or doesn't look right.

There is no real genre I would prefer. I will beta anything for anyone that needs help. However, if there is a type of story or world that I don't understand, I will tell you so you can try and find someone who will understand your characters.

The stories I don't want to beta are types of anime stories because I have no knowledge of them.
