Oh? Me? I'm just a high school girl who writes a lot. I read so much more than I write - novels, fanfiction, magazines, roadway signs...you get the picture. I've been Short Duck's beta reader for almost three years. We used to write in notebooks and pass them back in forth in class. I think that writing fanfiction really opens up a lot of new doors for people's creativity. You don't need to sit and write another cliched Realistic Fiction High School Romance or A Horror Novel About a Vampire who is Sexy. There are so many things you can do with beloved characters that you can't do with original flat characters!

I started out filling notebooks years before I ever posted anything on here. I help one writer feel good enough to post what they've written, which took me a long time, I'll feel accomplished as a beta reader. I've never flamed ANYONE. No matter how "bad" it was, I know how to offer critique without the ridicule. Everyone on this site can get better though their fellow authors.

I'd like to think of myself as being strong in writing witty humour, angst, romance, oneshots, and different points of view. My favorite to write in is second person. It's difficult and I usually won't write in it, but it always comes out so cool! With fandoms I like, I'm such a fact-whore. I know everything and everyone in a series. Bad grammar is my number one enemy.

Sometimes my dialog can get kind of 'laggy' and inspiration can be fleeting.

Throw anything at me. It doesn't matter if it's het or slash. I prefer to beta fanfictions from categories I know, which is a pretty wide scope.

Anything that isn't spellchecked. My brain does not like chatspeak, as well. It burns my retinas.
