I'm fairly good about spotting spelling and grammar errors. I generally change words that are all-caps to title case because I sometimes check grammar and spelling by having a text-to-speech program read the fic to me. I do a lot of thinking and I like to suggest concepts and possible tangents for a story. I also expect you to check my own work because I may miss some of your mistakes or maybe make all new ones or I may add something you may not approve of or want to refine.

I have relatively good spelling and grammar. I try to flesh out the characters and their world by trying to come up with explanations as to people's motivations and how things might work. I'm good with the theoretical. I'm good at thinking up explanations for various techniques and the mechanics behind them.

I've been told that I have a bit of a habit for writing in passive tense. I am trying to correct this. I also sometimes procrastinate. I don't think I would be great at doing torture scenes because I don't have the patience for them. I prefer fight scenes. I am still working on scene descriptions, as I tend to not write much about them.

I like episodic fics, fics with intense battle and training scenes. I also like fics with mature scenes. Wink, Wink. I also like personal stories of self-discovery in with people learn to understand themselves and who their friends really are or aren't. I like fantasy and also sci-fi.

I don't do overly mushy stories, though I don't have a problem with romance. I don't do character bashing for the sake of character bashing, though I may punish a character in some manner if I feel they deserve it. I don't do musicals or even poems, unless one just pops into my head. I don't do crossovers of a dozen different sources, something that complicated is bound to fail. I won't beta a parody, though I may write one for my self.
