I love reading well written stories, so I wish to maintain the standard of writing in fanfiction. My own stories are a record of my own development as a writer over the years.

My style of beta-reading is to perfect the grammar and wording of a story, in order that the story is both easier to read and enjoyable. I will not, however, interfere with the author's vision, namely rewrite the story.

I have not been betareading on FF.net for very long, but I still have experience with editing stories outside of fanfiction.

Also, I am english and so will edit in favour of English spelling unless specifically told otherwise.

Grammar is the big one. However, I also have a knack for finding the perfect combination of words to express the sentiments involved.

I prefer reading to writing, and so often my own stories get neglected. I also find myself slipping into the passive tense.

I like most stories.

I would prefer stories that don't involve OCs, high school fics, or instant messaging, unless they're within a parody context.
