While one team of heroes deal with the Distortion on Gunvolt's world; Akira, Kallen and Yae Sakura travel to Shantae's world to deal with the other Distortion. There, they will work together with Shantae and her arch-enemy Risky Boots, to stop the Pirate Master's revival while searching for the Distortion.
