For many years humanity was confined to Earth, unable to escape the oppressive Assault Cells that kept them from space. ORCA knew this, and so, they destroyed humanity's jailors, opening the path to space as humanity thrived once more. However, they will soon find that the unknown expanse was holding much more than anyone could have dreamed of... and so humanity must fight again.

The Cradles fell, and with them, the wall separating humanity from expanding to the heavens. This expansion, however, brought forth circumstances which could not have been predicted.
