Thanks a lot for making a pit stop here. So, let me tell you a couple of things about myself and my preferences with regards to fanfiction.

My name is not going to be mentioned here, so you can call me Smiles or Penguin. I'm a 20 something girl from Asia and absolutely love reading fiction (not really a fan of biographies, etc). I have been reading fanfiction for over two years now and finally gathered the courage to write and upload my own stories. I have always been writing something or the other since my school days, but never shared them with anyone (unless it was part of a project) because I couldn't handle critics. I'm sure I've gotten better at that.

I'm not part of a lot of fandoms because I haven't read that much lately (blaming adult life here). So, I'll tell you what I like and if any of you out there have any good story recommendations, I'd love to read them (I don't like non-canon slash, usually)

1. Percy Jackson series - I'm in love with the series (PJo and HOO). It's as simple as that. Love everything that is canon. The thing is if I start writing more on this topic, this profile will never be completed. Like ever. So I'm just gonna tell the few things that I don't like in fanfics:
a. Dumb! Percy - he isn't dumb in canon, only oblivious to some things - like most people
b. Percy/Gods or Goddesses - don't like them at all... The only non canon slash that I like is Percy/Nico
There are a few other things, but I can't remember them.

2. Harry Potter - Grew up reading it and loved it. My mom used to read it to me as bedtime story (in my mother tongue cuz I didn't know English back then). I recently re-read the series and fell in love with it all over again.

Favorite book in the series - Deathly Hallows
Favorite Character - Hermione... I mean come on, she is awesome, not made for war but awesome
Favorite Professor - McGonagall and Lupin
Favorite Relationships - Ron/Hermione, Lupin/Tonks, Harry & Sirius (not slash), Golden Trio friendship, Neville/Luna
TBH, I don't like Harry's character all that much. I mean at one point in life, he was the most amazing thing in the world to me, but now that I re-read the series when I'm older, I don't like him all that much. Not many people will agree with me I guess on this point. I also hate Ron bashing in the fandom. Like I never got that. In my opinion, he portrays the people in real life and many people have told me that he left his friends in Book 7 but I think many people IRL do that. Leave when the going gets tough. But he came back and had wanted to come back ever since he left, so it makes it a bit better in my books. I can actually go on this topic for ever, so let me stop here. PM me if anyone wants to discus this.

3. Marvel - I love MCU...haven't read the comics but I know a few stuff in there too. But I love the movies, but unfortunately haven't had the time to watch Agents of SHIELD yet. :(
Favorite Characters: Tony Stark & Loki
Favorite Avengers: Iron Man, Spider-man & Thor
Favorite Non Avenger (original) Superhero - Ant-Man & Black Panther
Again I don't like the non canon pairings, so unfortunately can't read most fics cuz of Stony and/or Tony/Bucky, yada, yada
P.S. I have a Post IW fix-it fic. Give it a read. It's pro Loki for all those Loki haters out there

4. Supernatural - I love the show! It's just great! I binged watched the whole thing in no time but haven't had the time to catch up with S13, unfortunately.
Favorite Character - Sam and then Dean. Sam is amazing.
Favorite Pairings - Sam/Gabriel, Dean/Castiel, Sam/Jessica, Dean/Lisa
I've read so, so many fanfics in this fandom that I can't even remember them all. But I love them all!

5. Teen Wolf - I honestly was skeptical if I could ever like the series, but I did (except S6B...come on, what was that? I'll pretend it never happened).
Favorite Character (in order of liking them) - Stiles, Scott, Lydia, Issac, ... not gonna go beyond this but I like all characters... and that has never happened before so yeah...
Favorite Parent - Melissa, Sheriff
Favorite Couple - Stydia, Skira(Scira), Scalison, Ethan/Jackson, Melissa/Sheriff
I love h/c fics focusing on Stiles and Scott friendship... it's the best there is. And I love BAMF!Stiles

6. NCIS - I basically love any crime/thriller/etc shows, but this is the only one for which I've read fanfics.
Favorite Character - Tony, Abby, Ziva, Gibbs
Favorite Pairings - Tiva, McGee/Delilah
I love h/c focusing on Tony and the team or most of Tiva fics.

7. Shadowhunters or TMI - but only focusing on Malec

8. DC - I only read them sometimes... Arrow or Flash. Stopped watching them long ago but occasionally read the fics.

9.Crossovers - I like PJo/Marvel crossovers and sometimes PJo/HP crossovers.

Okay, I'm pretty sure I left out a couple of fandoms that I proudly belong to, but I can't remember them now.
