![]() Author has written 25 stories for Numb3rs. General Disclaimer: Numb3rs and all its characters belong to people far more talented than I am. And they even make money with it. I don't. All these stories were written for gratuitous entertainment only and no copyright infringement is intended. About me: Thirty-something, female, German. I often describe myself as a fits-and-spurs writer, meaning that in the middle of daily life ideas, scenes or portions of dialogue might pop into my head, preferably at times I cannot deal with them right away. Because, you know, neither paper and pen nor my laptop would fare under the shower. :-) If they're really strong, they will come back later and if I manage to reign in my musae at that point, I commit ficage. That's the theory on paper, but it only ever works in maybe a third of all cases. :-) I was pretty prolific (and poor!) when I didn't have a job, but back then I dreamed fanfic on a regular basis and did hardly anything else but write. Now I'm back among the working for well over two years and back to writing for a couple of months and I simply have to concede that things are different now. Writing is still a lot of fun for me, but I'm at the beginner's stage of learning to plan my stories and actually follow through with the plan. Big step for me, so please bear with me if it takes me a while to learn. :-) There will still be one-shots, but the longterm plan is to actually reach the novella stage with a story in less than a month. So yeah, longer stories from me in the making. Oh, and since I view writing as fun and want my readers to partake in it for free, don't bother approaching me if you look for contributers for a zine. I will say no anyway. "Bitter Harvest" update (February 2, 2009) Still 12 parts in total, still hoping to be finished... before Christmas. But I won't say which year. lol In any case, I will finish this, and hopefully it won't take me that long. "Bet Me A Lifetime" update (November 16, 2008): I know what I wanted to do this summer, but life had other plans. I'm still clinging to this story of mine that I mostly refer to as "my li'l monster" and once "Bitter Harvest" is done, I will throw myself into this one again. I want to try to keep the length of chapters constant, which might have been a bad idea in the first place. But I need structure, so there. I can do this, I know I can.
