![]() Author has written 4 stories for Pokémon, Warcraft, and Star Wars. Hello there. If you're reading this, you're probably expecting some sort of summary of the several stories I have, as apparently that's the norm? Idk. That's what's going here. The Redwood Saga: I misspell that as 'sage' far too many times to be coincidence. Anyways. This is a story about Pokemon, set in a unique universe that has elements of 'old earth' buried under the already very well established Pokemon World with a contemporary history of 30-20,000 years of development from the humans who've survived alongside Pokemon. This is a universe where our current civilization essentially failed, and in a manner that we'll get into later, ruined the Earth so thoroughly only an Act of Arceus saved it from becoming a lifeless husk. You will also find Many similar names, places, and even stories in this epic tale that I like to think of as an homage to writers far, far more skilled than I am. But since this is Fanfiction, and I'm not nor do I intend to profit from this, you can expect to see familiar faces from other series/universes along the way. But with Pokemon, and the usual protags that come with it, including but not limited to Red, Gary Oak, and yes, even Ash Ketchum. Since we do have a canon multiverse, think of this Saga's setting as one where it's All coming together. The largest impact the planet's past has on what is relevant to the story is namely the 'Old Net' which is the basis for the current generation of humanity's technological prowess, and what they started from. The PokePast has also had several truly awful Trainers, with powers we'll get into later, that have been liberal with brainwashing techniques, and Shadow worship. The Shadow is going to be a recurring force throughout this tale, as I always loved that concept in Coliseum, and we never got to explore it nearly as much as we should have. What is Shadow energy really? Why does it exist? Is it sentient, or just a type of energy that brings out a sentient's most violent emotions? If Arceus represents light and lawful good, does the Shadow have a similar figure? How does Giratina really play into all of this, and why, exactly, was it banished to another realm, one it actively seeks to stay in, Despite evidently being able to leave. These questions and concepts will be ones we revisit often, with other things going on as well. As with literally every Pokemon story published by the ever impressive Nintendo, the protagonist has impressive winning streaks, strong partners, bags full of items, etc. I modeled him on the Trainers we essentially play the games through on. They're as elite as it gets in the Pokemon World, but I was always more interested in what happens after you become Champion, and reach a new level. This story focuses on the aforementioned protag on his journey through this Pokemon flavored mishmash of as many references as I can weave in without going full cringe. Enjoy. Pokemon Short Stories: There are several 'stand alone' stories I've crafted separate from the main story's time and places, but still as equally 'canon', unless stated otherwise. The important ones will usually be tied to the main story eventually, or be chronologically placed where I've deemed them to be most useful. This is also where you can find the smut. What little I've wrote. I realized pretty quickly that the M audience for Pokemon is pretty small, but still wanted to try my hand at it, because apparently I write well, and smut is quite literally where All of this began, at first. So if that's what you're after...look there. Stormclaw: I only know 3-5 lore histories associated with certain franchises enough to make a cohesive story, and Warcraft has been a passion of mine since I was twelve. As has my druid. He had more backstory than I bothered giving any other alt (though I have many alts, and they will definitely be showing up when/if the opportunity comes) and this story is essentially the history of Warcraft (or most of it) through the eyes of a Night Elf druid who has seen far too many wars, and frankly, is getting too old for this nonsense. There's ten thousand years of history between the start, and the crotchety old stereotype our protagonist becomes, which I will attempt to keep as lore friendly as possible, though there will be a bit of headcanon as we follow our druid boi on his journeys. Most of it is, as you would expect, from a druidic perspective so if you do not like druids, nature, or the themes associated with such, this may not be the story for you. That said, it is very Night Elf themed, and as we hit modern WoW era, that's going to become more important for reasons you either know, or will learn as you read them. Darth Rathios: Aside from being the not-so-subtle inspiration for certain bigbads in certain Sagas, Rathios has been an idea of mind since KOTOR, but only SWTOR gave me a chance to make it reality, and thus it is SWTOR's timeline, more or less, that his story takes place in. I always wanted to make a Darth, but apparently, so did everyone else. I was hesitant to even put his story up unless I made it unique, so I wondered what would happen if Vitiate, by way of subtle shenanigans, created a unique weapon from one of his species' bloodlines, and put it to work for the eventual invasion of the Republic. Rathios' story begins right around when Revan and Malak turned Sith, for those wondering, and we go from there. Unlike my other two stories, this one has no intended ending (at the moment) so I'm curious to see where he'll go. He'll probably die, because Rule of Two, but we will see. I don't always incorporate randomness into my stories, as that can get a bit...chaotic...but I do and have rolled for certain events in the past, and given how they've ultimately turned out, it's something I'll keep doing in the future. So if one of my characters succeeds, or fails spectacularly, at something that seems a little bit random or sudden, or different from how you, and I, expected the plot to proceed...blame the dice, and my inability to roll high. |
