Type of h/c: The fics focus on emotional consequences, i.e., Sam, Dean and their extended family do not bounce back quite as well from their respective traumas as they do in TV Land. So it's the usual crop of vulnerable, often broken Winchesters trying to piece themselves and each other back together.

Other fic accounts of mine: I'm ever_dimming on AO3, and same on LJ.

Boring notes: Sam & Dean tend to be quite dissociative in my fics, probably due to my own experience (both as an observer and as someone with both C-PTSD and severe dissociation). I try to give them more comfort than the average person with those type of wounds usually gets.
So, yeah, definitely working some stuff out through writing, but hopefully in a way that's not too self-indulgent.

Also, I'm not a native English speaker, and have never lived in the States -- so please excuse the occasional dated/inaccurate reference or weird phrasing. Hopefully there won't be too many of those. These? Dammit.

ETA: have severe problems with reading in recent years, which is why I rarely get to read other people's fics. That truly sucks and I wanted to say I'm sorry about that. I'd love to be giving back feedback :(
