A little about me:

Name: Pearl

Age: Old enough to drink legally

Nationality: Chinese. Yes. English is technically my second language, but with how often I use it in daily life, it's actually about as good, or even better, than my Mandarin.

Occupation: Student/artist (If anyone is interested, I have an Instagram account with all of my sketches and drawings there under the same pen name)

Fandoms: A whole lot, mostly in anime or Japanese video games, but my main ones are the Persona series, Nasuverse (I do play FGO NA, if anyone wants to add me), and Percy Jackson series.

I have been an avid reader since I was a wee little kid, and I am very fast at doing it. However, I only got into fan fiction recently, mainly because I used to detest them. Many, many examples later, I think that there are a fair amount of hidden gems in fan fiction, though the majority is still trash.

Crossovers are my favourite genre, mainly because authors rarely write them, and that means I get to see new developments and scenarios. Plus, some team ups are pure awesome.

As you may have guessed, I am very picky about what I read and follow. Bad grammar is a HUGE turnoff for me. It doesn't have to be perfect (mine isn't perfect either), but at least it must be understandable. If I am playing a game of fill-in-the-blanks while reading your story, sorry, but no matter how interesting the plot could be, I won't be able to stand it. Character and plot development comes next. They're harder to judge, so I tend to be more lenient, but if the plot doesn't make sense, doesn't follow the lore of the 'verse, or the characters are really OOC, that's the hallmarks of a bad writer. You're better off doing something else.

Being Human: My first attempt at writing fan fiction. Crossover between Bleach and Persona 3, starring Aigis.

Progress: Chapter 7 - Just started.

Also looking for a beta for this story, mainly to help with characterisation and plot! I have a skeleton for it, but there are several holes in it that needs to be addressed, and I don't know how to fill them in.

Real life update: I'm on the last semester of school, with only two classes to take, but I'm also working as an artist and writer for a fan project (I might post a snippet of what I wrote later on!), and with other things I won't exactly have too much time to write. Still, I intend to push out a chapter every month or 2.

My aim is one chapter every month, with hopefully a good buffer in case I slip up or something.
