Author has written 4 stories for High School Musical, and Fantastic 4. I'm a 23 year old male college graduate. I used to just read fanfics only rather than write them because I felt that people could probably do a much better job than anything I could ever come up with. Well, that and the fact that I am a really shy individual, so doing something like writing fanfics and subjecting myself to public review is a big jump for me. A jump I'm uneasy about taking. Don't get me wrong though. I absolutely love creative writing. Anyways, I decided to give writing fanfics a go after all. Not because people are doing a horrible job writing them, but I finally decided to be bold for a change, at least when it comes to writing rather than reading fanfics. The way I see it, the worst-case scenario is that people think I suck, but seeing how they don't really know me, it won't theoretically affect me all too much. Then again, I am rather sensitive... Hmm...now to tell you a little bit about me...first and foremost, my biggest passion is music. I was in choir from 5th grade through the 1st semester of 7th grade. The last two quarters of college, I got back into choir. Now I am a 2nd tenor/baritone. I also played the clarinet in band from 5th grade through senior year of high school. I was usually just in concert band except for my junior and senior year of high school when I was in both concert band and marching band. For me, music is my release. Whenever I am singing or playing my clarinet, all my troubles and worries seem to melt away. I am completely in the moment with nothing else on my mind but music. That's why it is my passion because nothing else does that for me. As far as what music I listen to, I listen to a pretty ecclectic mixture of music. I pretty much listen to everything. Seriously. The top 40 radio stations are the sort of stations I listen to. Two things that I am not particularly fond of when it comes to the music I listen to is when the lyrics are shouted and when the singer has a major vibrato. I can tolerate a little vibrato, but a major vibrato isn't very melodious to me. I kind of see it as an inability to maintain a constant pitch even though certain genres of music practically praise and call for a vibrato. It's a matter of personal preference really. I don't really watch much television, but some of my favorite shows are American Idol, Friends, The O.C., 7th Heaven, One Tree Hill, Gossip Girl, and What I Like About You. That's not to say that I don't watch other shows because I do, but those are my favorite shows. I still kind of think that I am a kid at heart because I even watch some cartoons occasionally. Which cartoons I rather not say out of fear that I'll end up embarassing myself. After reading the bit about my favorite movies though, you should have a pretty good idea. I rarely ever go to the movie theatre. I usually see a movie for the first time after it's already out on dvd and thus no longer being shown in theatres. Some of my favorite movies though are Transformers: The Movie, the Lord of the Rings movies, the X-Men movies, the Fantastic Four Movies, the Harry Potter movies, the Pirates of the Caribbean movies, Emperor's New Groove, Kronk's New Groove, Not Another Teen Movie, Hairspray, Napoleon Dynamite, Jumper, Coyote Ugly, Moulin Rouge, High School Musical, and High School Musical 2. I'm an aquarius. I'm not too big on the whole astrology thing, but I do believe that I am pretty much the epitome of an aquarius. If you are firm believer of astrology, then you will know what I mean. Other than that, I was born in Seoul, South Korea. I was adopted at around 10 months of age by white parents. Because I was adopted at such a young age, I do not speak Korean. Also, because I was adopted by white parents, I don't follow Korean culture. I am the youngest of eight children (all of whom were also adopted, one of which is white). I think that pretty much sums me up. |
