Author has written 14 stories for Naruto, Doki Doki Literature Club, and High School DxD/ハイスクールD×D. You came here to my profile, presumably, to learn some things about me. I'm not exactly a forthcoming person when it comes to my personal life, but I'll let you guys know some things that I'm comfortable with. My name is Edward the VIII here... but you can call me E, Big E, E-man, Ethan (my IRL name), or whatever; I don't really mind, so long as you're respectful. I've written quite a few stories. I started writing in April~ of 2017, and have been doing it consistently ever since. As of my writing this, I turned twenty-one a few days ago. I live in the United States of America, and I spend my days A few authors I recommend you check out, because who actually looks at favorites lists? I'm moderator on a fanfiction discord. It's a pretty chill place to hang out, get some advice, a beta, and just talk about stuff. Here's the link if you want to join: https:///HKuZjpF The King in White: He's a bit of a cunt, but he writes good stories. Not to mention he's all around a good dude (and a cunt ofc), and has helped me write/edit a few of my stories. Glacious: He's a bit of a doormat when it comes to things, but I love him all the same. He wrote this pretty good story called Wood, Paper, Illusion--though I hear he's got something else interesting in the works too. RifatAlam: Another all around cool guy. I may disagree with him on certain things--pairings, characterization, etc.--but I'd still easily call him a friend. NXSE: He wrote a lot of pretty medicore fiction back in the day--neglect, banishment, you name it; I don't blame him for it though. He's branched out into new writing, and I even have a collab with him called 'Death and the Shinobi'. You should check it out if you have the time. Cschman20: One of the legitimately nicest people I know, and a damn good writer to boot. Tyrannitor: Chances are, if you're into time travel stories you've heard of this guy. Definitely an awesome dude, and I would recommend a through reading of his stories. That's about it. Check out those authors above me, I really recommend it. I don't have much else to say, so thanks for reading my profile and I hope you like my stories. The next bit is copied and pasted straight from a friend's profile. Reviews are Very Fucking Important. If you're here reading this, you should be dropping a Review instead. Clearly, you're here because of my not-too-shabby story, and instead of just gawking at some random dude's profile, you should do what everyone on this site does. Leave A Review. Not just on my story, but on every single story that you read. I've made it my 2016 New Year's Resolution to leave a Review every time a new chapter comes out on one of my Favourite stories. You should too. You know why? Because Fanfiction is not a solo experience. Someone sits in front of a computer screen for hours, toiling and agonizing over what words to use to describe their vision for a character's actions. You only read their words because you care about the same thing. Simply telling the author that you enjoyed a particular line/scene via leaving a Review is the very least you can do. It's simply a matter of Good Manners. One of my favourite reviewers simply thanks me for the read each time I post a new chapter. That really motivates me, knowing that atleast someone appreciates what I do, and actually cares that I posted a chapter. If you're one of those idiots who says that I should only write because I want to, pssh, yeah, I could. But that would completely defeat the purpose of putting it up here. And then you would be sitting with idle hands, complaining that there aren't any good stories on here. When I say that Reviews Are Important, I mean it. I thrive in an environment with a lot of positive reinforcement. Watching that review count tick higher and higher is how I get my kicks. Waking up in the morning and seeing an e-mail alert telling me someone left a review is actually one of the best parts of my day. You know the most surprising thing? Quite a few reviewers raise highly salient points. Writing an epic-length story means that I tend to forget a few details along the way; having other people to keeping track of them keeps me grounded. So, to recap, Leave A Review. Make the Fanfiction Experience richer, for both yourself and the author. Trust me, it really helps. I hope that changed your perspective, even if just a little. If you want to contact me, feel free to DM me here whenever you want, I'll respond to most if not all private messages. |
