Real Life Universal Theory and Dimensional Tiering.

The number of dimensions changes depending on the theory and their respective levels of power vary. However, M-theory which unifies all the super-string theories: 11D Super Gravity, Type I, TypeIIA, TypeIIB, SO(32) Heterotic, E8xE8 Heterotic is more completed and comprehensive.

Time dimensions can be seen as spatial or space-like as duration cannot exist without space, thus the term Space-Time. The point-line-plane postulate is the accepted method for visualizing any number of dimensions and M-theory contains another six spatial dimensions outside standard four Space-Time dimensions.

While most verses don't take this idea of dimensional tiering inside of fiction seriously, it's most commonly known that the idea of infinity inside projective geometry and the concept of a Hausdorff dimension is that every dimension exceeds the previous one by a countable infinity and is inherently superior to a lower dimension.

This is not always true as plenty of fictional characters who possess powers of a higher dimensional being can still be defeated at the hands of a lower-dimensional being because there are different levels of each dimension up to infinity.

Therefore an infinite third-dimensional being can defeat a higher-dimensional being that has not reached infinity in a higher dimension. However, if an infinite higher dimension is at conflict with an infinite lower dimension it will always result in the favor of the former as it is in a position of absolute supremacy.

The pseudo-Riemannian manifolds of general relativity describe spacetime with matter and gravity. Ten dimensions are used to describe string theory and eleven dimensions describe supergravity and M-theory, and the state-space of quantum mechanics is an infinite-dimensional function space.

The concept of dimension is not restricted to physical objects. High-dimensional spaces frequently occur in mathematics and the sciences. They may be parameter spaces or configuration spaces such as in Lagrangian or Hamiltonian mechanics; these are abstract spaces, independent of the physical space we live in.

A universe like the one we occupy is not the only one in existence. A Micro-verse is the concept of smaller universes of equivalent size separated by its own Space-Time within another universe, it would be exactly like a normal universe made up of the four dimensions with its own parallel universes and timelines, this isn't always a given, however.

A Micro-verse would be vastly different and superior from a Non-Space-Time separated space known as a pocket dimension/space which is relatively common as time is an essential factor in what it would take to create or destroy these different types of dimensions.

In theory, this cycle of micro-verses could be repeated infinitely. A good example of this in fiction is from the Rick and Morty Micro-Verse battery, in which Rick creates a limited universe inside a battery and that Micro-verse creates another Micro-verse as a battery.

A Universe is no different from a Micro-Verse except in order to be one it would have to not be within another universe. The multiverse is a much larger expanse of many other universes, containing any number of universes both finite and infinite.

A Mega-Verse would be the same thing as a Multi-Verse except for one level higher and contains Multi-Verses instead of universes, again this cycle could be repeated infinitely. The Omniverse, on the other hand, is where everything ends, it contains everything that exists within it, which is literally nigh-everything-imaginable, including our universe.

Beyond the Omniverse would be infinite-dimensional function space and beings who transcend dimensional tiering, including God who would theoretically transcend those by another level and would be impossible to imagine.
