I started this FFN account when I was in high school and completely obsessed with the Harry Potter series. After reading enough Ron/Hermione stories I decided to write my own which you can view below. It's not complete and it probably won't ever be because I can't remember for the life of me where that story was going (you know, besides for the happy ending for Ron and Hermione) so if you start reading it, expect to use your imagination to finish the rest. Writing HP fan fiction lost its status as a high priority once I graduated high school and enjoyed my last summer before going off to college.

A few months ago I was bored and decided to watch this Vampire Diaries show on Netflix. I figure, I like vampires. Not Stehanie Meyer's vampires though, eff that noise-- I mean real vampires that burn up in the sun and don't ever EVER reproduce sexually. Naturally I got hooked and burned through the first two seasons in less than a week and a half. The third season hadn't started yet and I was freaking out, really needing some Damon and Elena action when I remembered a li'l place on the Internet where shippers can get their fill of romance and angst between their fave characters.

So here I am again to obsess with other squealy women/teeny boppers over another cultural phenom.

Am I going to write a Vampire Diaries fic? Maybe. I've thought about it for sure. One time I read a HP fic where Hermione was forced to nurse one Lucius Malfoy back to good health for Voldy after the final battle went awry. After months of recovery, forced conversation, spats and evil glances they eventually fell for each other. I know it's crazy! At first I thought I would absolutely hate it but it was truly one of the best Harry Potter fanfics I've ever read.

Taking a few cues from that author (oh how I wish I could remember what the website and story were called) my VD story would be loosely based around that theme: take the girl from the man we know she loves, stick her with the bad guy for an extended amount of time, Stockholm syndrome ensues, eventually her true love rescues her and yes, they have their happy ending but just the tiniest fragment of her heart will belong to her captor. How heart wrenching!

Admit it, Klaus and Elena would be totally hot together (and there are almost no decent M-rated Klaus/Elena stories that I've seen on FFN). And yes he's an evil prick but so was Damon but after we learned he had baggage we just wanted to rush over and fix his broken heart didn't we? Because that's what women are attracted to: men who need fixing!!! Well ladies, what man is more attractive than one with daddy issues like Klaus? It's totally plausible that over time (say 5-8 years so Elena doesn't age too much) that her compassion and curiosity eventually softens Klaus, they get to know each other (and then really get to know each other if you know what I mean) and then fall for the other? Oh the drama! Any more insight on my potentially-maybe fic would be a total spoiler alert so I'll leave you, dear reader, with that.
