Author has written 2 stories for Phantom of the Opera, and Howl's Moving Castle. I'm a person who has a great predisposition to be obsessive/compulsive as demonstrated through my mania for various things like good books, dark chocolate, comics, musicals, films and fine cuisine. My greatest over-indulgence would probably be books and being a speed-reader probably does not help. The fact that I am a complete bibliophile also contributes to why I am always broke! I also have a great interest in languages which is also fueled by my feelings of competition against my maman who speaks 7 languages. I have an extremely large family who are scattered around the globe. I have approximately 300 cousins and meet more every year at family reunions (which is quite disconcerting). My numerous relatives also contribute greatly to my interest in languages as it is rather difficult to communicate with a cousin who does not speak a common language. ~haha~ I'm a Law student doing a combined degree with International Studies as I wish to do International Law as my masters. My stupid course currently takes 8 years to complete (including International Law) so I'll be quite old when I graduate (28 haha!). Who knows... I might horrify my parents and decide to go for a pHd (or as my mum puts it. Permanent Head Damage)! The obssession that has a direct effect on my writing at the moment is the Phantom of the Opera and Howl's Moving Castle and I will probably develop new fixtations to write about and pontificate about old ones. My Phan-phic, Fleur de Nuit,is my attempt to pay homage to the very desirable Phantom! This story is being from the Romantic Fantasy genre, so expect a few surpirses! I will usually only write phan-phics pairing Erik with Other, but who knows what will happen in the future! Fleur de Nuit will be a story in several parts, beginning with Erik's early childhood then fast-forwarding to his life after he leaves the Opera Populaire. Carousel of Love is the story in which Sophie decides that she is fed up with Howl's flirtatious nature and lack of commitment (he has never actually told her that he loves her!), thus she decides to leave and build a new life for herself in Kingsbury without magic around to remind her of Howl and the happiness (and annoyances) they had shared. However, will Howl let her go so easily and what will and can he do once he finds her? I hope that my stories are being enjoyed and please, please review! This writer's ego is very fragile and needs constant attention. ~grins~ Fleur de Nuit Carousel of Love |
