I'm twenty-six. I enjoy proper grammar and stories about awesome women, chromatic characters, saving the world, and falling in love. I'm very liberal, and very invested in social justice, though I am still taking baby steps myself in that department. I review sort of rarely for two main reasons: a) I am a failboat, and b) I have some personal issues (mostly anxiety) that make it difficult for me. I am trying to remember to fave things more often to make up for it, but it's a work in progress.

Big Darn Heroes

A sci-fi AU of A:tLA: Katara pilots the Appa, a ship Aang once crash-landed on the lunar colony where she and Sokka once lived. Everything goes well, until the Appa takes on passengers - a young woman with pure white hair, a very pleasant old man, and his nephew. Not a crossover with Firefly, but of similar tone.

Flying Blossoms

An exploration of A:TLA's dead and absent mothers. This is kind of a weird one - each chapter is a different mom, and therefore sort of a fic unto itself.

The Spiral of Lives

A rewrite of the 2009 Avatar movie without the avatars; Jake was hired by SecOps and injured on Pandora instead of brought in to use his brother's avatar. Written as a gift in response to a prompt, for Yuletide 2010.
