Hello and thank you for visiting my profile. My pen name is Devilina07, which is a name I use regularly throughout the internet. I am a regular poster on and I am also an administrator for The Tiki .

I have no formal training in writing. The few fics that I have written thus far are my first stabs at writing. At the outset, I had planned on making Smoke and Mirrors my one and only fic, but I found that writing was fun and it was also a nice distraction at work when the day was slow. I currently only have four pieces posted but I plan on writing a few more. Please understand that my interest Phantom of the Opera is one of morbidity. I will not say never, but it is not my intention to ever do a love story between Christine and Erik because I personally never saw that possibility in the book. I am a Leroux-enthusiast so my writing will also never touch upon Kay or the other published authors who have managed to make money off of Leroux's original story.

My beta is scots_rock_god or A Clever Name as she is known here. She's a fellow fan of POTO like myself and is a good friend.

Comments and suggestions are always welcome as long as they are constructive criticism.

As for the rest of my interests, they include: films, music, MINI Coopers, adult kickball (WAKA), Wonder Woman, Gilmore Girls, Vampires, Anne Rice, The Universal Monsters, The New York Yankees, sports in general, shoes, books, and the list goes on and on. UPDATE 09/11/08: I've been slow in updating Smoke and Mirrors. I'm trying to get back into writing but social activities and other personal matters get in the way. I'll try to be more consistant and post an update at least once a month.
